I haven’t been updating because not to much to show. We have been working on the main living area.

Here is a picture of the filtration room floor that went in today.

Good to see progress Brian. Hope the remodel goes well across the board. Epoxy floor finish? Am sure you will be glad to see the back of this move and rebuild. Look forward to seeing the new shop and showroom.

Actually that shocks me.....  when it comes to his tanks, he is normally far from lazy.   But then rebuilding his whole room and moving is a heck of an undertaking.

Do you have a floor plan of the new Coral House?

Brian, I think you should set up a small “show tank”. That would give your customers a glimpse of the possibilities they can achieve as well as showcase your expertise in this hobby. Just a thought, cuz I know I’d love to see it!

I wouldn’t mind doing a display tank. It probranly won’t happen for a year or so. We have been working every day since 8/15 on home improvements. First on our current home and now the new one. Since closing 3 weeks ago we have accomplished a lot but lots more to do. Pretty much gutted the entire house. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to start on the coral house build due to the main living area work. I did get to remove a wall to extend the basement an extra 5 foot into some unfinished space. It was a second rear entrance that led down a hallway into the utility room. With this wall gone it opens directly to the main showroom. I also had to relocate the door on the right to the back of the room for access to filtration/utility room.

Here is a picture of the family room/ kitchen.  The kitchen was in the back right corner. There were walls between it and the family room that we tore out. There was lots of plumbing, ducting and electrical in those walls to relocate. I had to enlist some help from a electrician. but we did everything else ourself.

New main leg installed. This runs from the main electrical box to this sub box in filtration room.
