Dutch Synthetic Reef
« on: March 03, 2017, 15:30:08 »
So I saw a news article discussing a Dutch gentleman by the tag glennf (search glennf, glenn fong, or dutch synthetic reef method to find) and was wondering if anyone else had seen/heard/tried this method out. Basically he does zero water changes, but monitors something like 12 parameters and doses with 15 chemicals accordingly and making his own salt mix. Seems his tank has been running for several years without a change.

Part of me is tempted to try it out if I could find the chemicals, but also intimidated being a newbie and all.

Either way, was just wondering what the group thought.
