Thinking of adding moonlights (lsm module) to my apex system. Just wondering if you felt it was worth while or just a gadget for the tank. My tank is in my basement so I dont look at it at night after the 11pm lights out.
thanks

I have for years. I have seen some spawning events occur with the moon cycle. But otherwise probably more of a gadget.
If you have a classic apex, I have a lunar module you can have....you would just need the leds

On my stock Fluval EVO tank I am using the Fluval timer. After sunset the light goes into moonlight mode which I can adjust (essentially it's just the blue lights). I have it set to 1% which runs the 17.5 hours that the main lights are off.
I'm not sure the tank benefits? But I've been doing this since the start.
