Title: Clams and turbo snails..do they mix?
Post by: Heinbaughb on March 27, 2018, 19:31:46
I picked up a few turbos from Gerber’s last week and was curious what they would do to my Clam. I saw one today climbing quickly to the top.

Then as I watched in terror, it climbed in.

The clam never completely closed and the snail more or less gave it a dental exam. It didn’t damage the fleshy mantle
The snail eventually climbed back down and turboed away.

So now we know. They mix

Your okay Brian. The snail won't hurt it.

I have to say, I love the turbos. They are monster cleaners.

Me too. The combination of their size and speed make them algae eating machines.
