Really depends on the location of the tank and the available space above it or around it. Use a Couple of eye bolts in your ceiling and use the hanging kit wires that are included. If you don’t want to go into the ceiling you could hang a shelf above your tank and then anchor into the bottom side of the shelf. Or, you could even use some PVC and build a stand to straddle the tank and hang the light from the PVC.

I’ve seen people also use conduit and bend it - one guy just grabbed a tool off the shelf at Lowe’s/Home Depot and did it there, lol

You do have a point about location. I think I’d rather not hang from ceiling or joists as we’re looking to put the house on the market in the next year.  Whatever I do needs to be non-permanent as far as the house goes.
