I believe it is hair algae.  I havent had algae in a long time.  This popped up I think because of the almost new start of the 150 gallon.

i wonder how much of it has to do with the white egg-crate that is in the tank?  I have heard that is can contribute to algae.  My TDS is 0 from my ro/di unit
