I used Kent Kalkwasser on my 90g & 75g reefs. Now that I upgraded, I buy the 4 pound buckets (Two Little Fishes brand) from Prem. Aquatics to save money. You can save even more if you in bulk from large grocery stores or on the Internet (IE,  pickling lime or quicklime or bulk from Mississippi Lime Company, etc.)

It is all the same (assuming you buy food grade lime and not agricultural lime). The more you buy, the cheaper it is.

i used kent but found the liquid 2 part calcium had better results.  but i was only dosing a 55 gallon.  so other options are more practicle with larger tanks

Most of the time it is Mrs. Wages Pickling Lime.  It's usually only around in the late summer/fall.  I picked some up on clearance for cheap last time.

I'll have to double check, but I'm pretty sure the stuff I use is Ball. My Kroger's carries it year round.

I stand corrected, it is Mrs Wages. A 1lb canister costs like $2.50 or thereabouts. I live in Sidney.

I'd be willing to pick you up a couple canisters and ship them to you.
