125 and 150 Gallon Build!
« on: September 07, 2015, 21:03:43 »
Hi guys the name is Jacob and I was in this addictive hobby for about a year with a 75 "reef" a couple softies nothing fancy. I love corals but they scare me. Also had a 40 with a pair of clowns and and small angel. Anyways after being out of the hobby for a year I completely redid my room with my dad's help and saved up some money and am now finally getting the building part. The stand is 12' long 39" wide and 42" tall. It will be a pain to clean but I won't have to bend over to look at my fish

Some of the equipment:
3- A360we's for over the 125 with the spectral controller
Just a couple ATI t5's over the 150 because I don't plan on any corals being in there but still am thinking about a 48" reef breeders.

Jebao dc 12,000 return pump that should be big enough for both tank's but if not I also have a quiet one pro 5000.
Maxspect gyre 150 for the 125 and 2 jebao rw8's for the 150. I hope to upgrade to another gyre later on.
Apex Jr( let me know whoever has experience with apex if I should take this back and get the next model up. I don't think I do because I only have a couple things I want to plug in and the Kessel have there own controller.

Kind of messy right now but this is the 150 that I found for $75 (can't beat $.50 a gallon) and refurbished. It's half inch glass and heavy as hippo. Also my baby next to it the reef octopus 300 Diablo protein skimmer. Also have a 40w emperor aquatics UV sterilizer

Also have a aqua Maxx biopellet reactor that I'm debating on whether I want to use or not. Also if anybody is nearby and needs a overflow I have 2 eshopps overflows 1 large and 1 small that I would give away for FREE.

finished putting the main part together but probably have to wait a day or two for my dad to help me skin and make doors, and there's a Mtn Dew for reference. Yum

Sorry, the whole build thread is on Buckeye Reef. It was too much work because I was on 3 different places.
