It’s about an inch long. If it’s alive, its a slow mover!

The best answer I received on R2R was a feather duster out of its tube. And I believe that may be what it is. I had a shell with feather dusters attached to it and a hermit crab swapped out shells with it. its now crawling around with baby feather dusters on its shell, and the big one is now gone.
