Thanks NanoDad. I used Carib Sea special grade. Same as my last tank.

And by the way, yours is looking great too!

Actually put 13 fish in the tank over the last week. Most are 1” or less. I would say I have 17” of fish I the tank now and doing well so far.

3 azure damsels
3 royal gramma
2 ocellaris clown
1 orange spotted shrimp goby
1 tailspot blenny
1 blue green chromis
2 purple firefish

No more will be added for a month or so.

Keith and his wife are making a trip down in a couple weeks and bringing my coral he was kind enough to hold for me while I moved.

Next group of fish will be 4 carberryi anthias.
And a melanarus wrasse

It will interesting to hear how your azure damsels do. I’ve heard they are a less aggressive damsel. I have a bunch of the springeri and they are great. You ever had the azure’s, and how are they so far?

Well..... day 3. Never had one but also read a lot that they were the least aggressive. This time around I have a 30 gallon sump, so.....

Just got my clean chaeto from algae barn. Assembled the Skimz algae reactor, attached chaeto and up and running in about 30 minutes.

And enjoyed some company

Nice video! No algae on the glass yet! The algae reactor looks very compact. Be interested in seeing how often it will need to be emptied.

Thanks Gary. I will be sure to post when I harvest. It’s easy to see thru the top to know when it’s full.

I started with a tennis ball size of chaeto. Broke it into 2 pcs and put a piece on each level.

I’m hoping for a nice score here. Got this nem at the LFS today. I believe it is totally pink.

Attached quickly and bubbled up a bit within minutes.

We will see........
