I think I'm going to leave it open in the front. My current stand has doors and I'm tired of fighting them. Anybody else have a open stand?

Yes. Made it with the intentions of covering, but never did.

Yep, hollow even.  ;D


Granted this particular setup has all hang on equipment, so no random pipes or wires hanging down in the void. 

TroyReeF has a pretty good workaround on his 40g that may be something to think about if you want to hid equipment below.  Instead of doors, you could run a velcro strip along the top of the opening and do a fabric curtain.

BTW, the stand is looking great!

my tank will have plumbing under it, but I do like the curtain idea. I should finish staining it this morning after work. Will do a update when I'm done.

Hopefully this weekend I can finish hiding all the wires and fix the plumbing.
