Post by: lazylivin on March 10, 2018, 15:56:33
Helped my son Tyler setup a jbj 28g nano couple week back. 2/26/18. It has a factory flourecent lighting in the hood.
He has a diamond goby and two clownfish.
Inverts: rose bubble anemone, rock flower anemone, blood/Fire shrimp, Hawaii feather duster, snails and crabs
sps: ectoplasm, Blue Tenius, green/blue Tenius. Bird of Paradise, ORA Purple stylo
lps: green frogspawn
Softies: kryptonite clove polyps, varius zoas, mushrooms, xenia and toadstool
We used live rock for filtration.

Looks real nice Brian. Would be nice to have a Dad who has a frag shop to choose corals from. Family discounts too!👍🏼😉

Should be fine with the lighting however I am not so sure he will be consistent with the dosing that they will need

He hasn’t killed anything yet so that is good. We added a neon goby and sexy shrimp

Brian it’s looking great. I hope you have made him aware of the risk of reefer addiction. 1,000 frags are not enough and 1 is too many : )

Thanks Jesse, he is enjoying it. I have a couple small fish in quarantine for him he is excited to get in there. A small hippo tang and Longhouse Hawkfish. He wants led's that have more blue in them. The fluorescent look nice but the corals aren't popping like he sees over here.

Things are growing well. Especially the euphyllia. Looks like it is into the stylo already. Going to have trim it soon.

Retired this system today. The light went out on it and they lost interest in it. All the fish now have residence at Lazys Coral House.
