C.A.R.E. Frag Swap 2016 - Saturday Feb 6th

Mark the date. More details to come soon.

Lets just say this one will be quite special and hopefully the start of a great fundraising effort for the future.

We are collaborating with Coco Key for a great event!

This swap is the main way we get Donations to keep our My little Piece of the Ocean program going which is an In class field trip for local schools in the tri state area where we bring in a small reef tank and coral skeletons to the classrooms and teach the future of our hobby about the reefs and about reef keeping. Hope to see all you Ohio Reef members there!

Just over 2 months away ladies and gentlemen! We are getting in a lot of good donations for the raffle and have got some awesome vendors coming. I hope to see a lot of Ohio Reef members in Feb! We do still have a couple vendor spots and Hobbyist spots available

Yea not much on there so makes you wonder what I'd even going to be there. I know that spikes coral was at the Cincy swap and had some nice stuff for sale but.....

Yeah i have been trying to push fragswapper and reef trader but i guess a lot of the heavy posters are either low or not coming. I did talk to fraggin wagon the other day and he has some awesome stuff he is bringing also a lot of higher end stuff as well as a $10 section so it should be good for newbies as well as hard core reefers. Also premium aquatics is supposed to be there with dry goods like bulk gfo, 2 part, etc

don't get me wrong, i am too. We've done everything we can do, got some great vendors, great raffle prizes, a great venue, and have gotten the word out the best that we can! It's up to the local reefers now to show up and have a great time. We hope to see you there Topekoms and soldiers! Also we hope to see more Ohio Reef support, we know that there are a lot of great reefers in this club!

Yea hopefully some tax money comes rolling in or something being the turn out at Cincy swap was big and now another swap 3 weeks later doesn't give much time to replenish funds.

yeah unfortunately we cannot control when other clubs have their swap, we set a date for our swap back in Sept or Oct hoping to avoid being so close to other local swaps, but this is the so called HOT season for swaps!

Weather is looking to be in the upper 30's!!! Come join the fun. Bring the whole family or just yourself. We have some great raffles in including a 75g tank (not reef ready) and stand, AI hydra 26, great foods, pumps, ro/di units, and much more.
