How many fish is to many fish in a 125?

How many fish are to many fish in a 125. I am thinking about adding 8 more fish. But the biggest they will get is 4". And I already have 2 tangs 2 clowns 2 cardinals engineer goby lawnmower benny. Flam angle flam hawk a hoevens wrass and a blue damsel. It will be a total of 20 fish?

There will be many different answers. Your plan sounds very similar to what I am planning. I say go for it!  Just make sure you can handle the bioload

It will depend on what they are and how they will get along with the others that are already established.  If you choose species that will occupy different areas of the tank it will be fine although you will have to stay on top of water changes.  Personally, I prefer fewer.  I have 10 or 11 in my 120 and consider it stocked.  The largest is a Tomini Tang.
