LED Fans
« on: December 22, 2017, 15:43:11 »
Had a  customer that had some of his LEDs out on his ocean revive lights. He noticed his fans weren’t working. I checked mine here and I found two lights where one or two of the fans weren’t working. My LEDs are OK but I would imagine at some point the LEDs would burn out from excessive heat. So may want to check your fans, not just ocean revive but any led fixture to be sure they are working ok. It is a cheap fix (few dollars) if just replacing fan but much more pricey if Leds go.

I think I've asked you before, but do you know what fan specs are in each light model?  I need to replace one, just getting lazy opening the fixture to get the fan info.

I emailed my salesman at OR to see if there is a plug and play fan on amazon or if they sell them. I will let you know what he says.

Replacement LED panels are $75 and replacement fans are $5. I ordered 10 fans and couple led boards

If anyone needs replacement ballasts for these I have like 4 extra. I had a clumsy mishap and needed 1, so I ordered extra as well. Figured as clumsy as I am it wouldn’t hurt to have extras.

Brian, I have one of the older versions from OceanRevive and both of my fans are out!!! I'm not sure who started this thread but Thanks a bunch for looking into this item. I do check periodically when I wipe them down but that both are out wow I did not anticipate that. Many thanks! I guess I will need two fans next time I am up at your shop.

Are the fans on those supposed to run nonstop? The fan on my ai light turn on and off automatically.  I'm guessing there is a sensor controlling it.
