I’d let everything stabilize for a while before tweaking anything.

You have gotten some good and sound advise so far.  My system runs at least 20 ppm of nitrate all the time and my corals have great colors.  As long as you can get away with it algae wise I think the corals love the higher nitrate.

i love seeing 20ppm on someones tank with fantastic color, mine has been bottoming out even with dosing. I plan to raise mine up in the next few weeks to keep it in a good shade of my test kit.

because they are starving!

the real limbo is PO4 low with NO3 higher...

not sure how to manage that.

That is one if the downsides of dosing lanthanum. Then you get Dino’s when the PO4 is low with high nitrates. A sulphur denitrator works on both evenly and consistently. I love mine.
