Yea lol I got lucky. My flame angel almost didn't make it but we got him back and he's better than ever.

Its been quite a while since I posted an update.  I just got coals glued down and am starting to hand dose everyday.  Looking forward to the growth!!  Also looking to add a floating fuge in my sump but not sure how to do that.  Any ideas??

Here is my current sump.  Let me know if you guys/gals have some ideas to add a fuge.

It's been a while since my last update. So a lot has happened lol. My fiancÚ and I just moved into our first home and with that I wanted to do a complete upgrade. I am very happy so far with everything. Now just need to start saving again for corals to fill the tank!!

Also, I am wanting to add pods to my tank. Not sure what to get or if anyone has any I could buy please let me know.

Please let me know if you see anything that could be improved or have any other ideas for the setup.

Having a calcium spike don't know if I should be worried or not.

Calcium - 534ppm
All - 10.622 dkh
Phosphate - 0.00ppm
Phosphorus - 0ppb
Nitrite - .007ppm
Ph - 8.0

Is there a way to lower it or should I just keep doing water changes?

tank looks good and its not that bad
a couple small water changes should bring  it back to normal... just dont want to drop it to fast and stress things out.
also if your still in need of pods ill have some available this weekend and live just up the road by austin landing

Great looking set up, love the tank / rock work and all the gadgets in the sump area - very clean! :) :)

Really great nano cube!  I love the cleanliness of this.  Any updated pictures available?

7 month update.

Tank is doing ok. Had a rough patch a few weeks ago and lost my 1 sps and almost all my zoas. Everything else is doing fine. Last Friday I did a complete clean out of the sump and did a 10gal water change.

This morning I noticed my trumpet coral dying. Pictures are below.

Here are my levels:

It would appear, by your nitrite, that you may be having a mini cycle. Possibly from cleaning too much at once...

Your trumpet is awfully close to your RBTA, are you sure it's not getting stung?
