dying anemone?
« on: June 07, 2018, 16:42:23 »
Without going in to any details, if an anemone is dying, what does it look like?  And when should I start to worry about the havoc it can cause on my tank?

In my experience they start “melting” and making an incredible mess.

I have a couple tiny bubble tips that have been wilting away. I was also worried about them polluting the water. I can't get to mine to get them out so I have just made sure to run carbon. So far so good. I wish I could get them out though..

Update; I got one of my dying anemones out. Trying to pull him out released a lot of material that probably wasn't good for the tank. Good luck, slippery boogers.
