hydra 26 HD control
« on: October 29, 2018, 18:00:59 »
Does anyone know if there is a way to control these lights without using the app/computer controller?
I don't like the fact that these lights are controlled via wifi, and would like a manual controller of some sort.

also, When power goes out, and I have the generator going, the lights won't come on since their is no wifi, due to the outage. So I would like to bypass wifi all together.

are their any other options?

Do you mean other than the buttons on the unit?  Are you trying to program the unit, but with a wired controller instead of a wifi controller?  Do you own an Apex?  I know the Apex AWM module supports the Hydra lights.

I'm looking for other ways to control the light intensities/colors without using that app.

thanks for the link

I gotcha, that's an add on module to the APEX system.  Ya, I'm not spending that much on that system...no way.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't AI drop that controller with the HD series?  I think I recall seeing that manual controller on past versions
