Sea Slug (Hare)
« on: November 26, 2018, 06:26:25 »
Hello everyone, after many hours of husbandry and a little assistance from my sea slug friend, I have managed to overcome the hair algae outbreak of 2018.  While his/her help was instrumental, I'm at the point where I am now having to feed him sheets of green stuff.  Does anyone need a slug to assist them?  I figured I would see if anyone in the club needed him before I returned him.

Is it a nudibranch?  Do you know what type?  We could probably use it.

I believe it is a Dolabella , it looks like shrek.  I bought it from Gerber's, with the understanding that it was the type that does not ink and and destroy the tank.  I've had to move him by hand a few times and never had any issues.  My fear right now is that it's not getting enough food and I don't want it to starve.

We could try it, as we have been battling algae in our seahorse tank.
