Title: tyree neon green toadstool not opening
Post by: Warhawk937 on January 31, 2019, 12:55:37
So im sure this is a dumb question.  I hear that toadstools close up every couple weeks to "shed"  ditritus ect.  Mine has been closed for two weeks and is looking pretty rough.  all perimeters have been constants and on point any ideas or history with this coral?

My Tyree Green did the same thing awhile back - closed up and looked wierd for a few days - almost over a week as well - no real reason. I moved it back out of the main flow - it did have detritus B/U in it as well.

Is it splitting? Mine did as you are describing and is slowly started to take on an egg shape and then a figure 8 and finally split.
