nice flame angel needs new home
« on: December 14, 2018, 18:13:45 »
I picked up this fish from cbell a month or so and it has just now this week started chomping on several of my sps corals. It has got to go.  I am getting the clubs trap and will try and catch him.  Very beautiful fish and in perfect health.  Spots in pic are floaties in the water not ich on the fish.  I paid $40 for it so would just like to get my money back out of it. They sell for twice that in a store and are a lot smaller.  Let me know if you are interested in him.  You can pm me or call or text.  937 232-6348  I am setting up my 30 gallon to hold him if and when I catch him.
thanks
Jeff

Are you keeping nori in the tank every day?

I added a coral beauty, a flame angel, and a flametail blenny a few weeks ago.

Already had a Fox face and tailspot blenny

Together they easily go thru 1/2 sheet of nori per day.

So far no coral damage.

I like fish more than coral so I really don’t care.

I will just go with a couple more leathers and other LPS that they really won’t bother.

I have three large tangs that rule the tank. Any food is demolished in minutes. I think that is part of the problem, flame isn’t getting enough to eat. It is a fairly timid fish compared to the others.

I was finally able to catch this fish today and have him in in my frag tank.  He is still available.  totally beautiful and healthy fish but has a taste for my sps coral.  I got the fish from cbell who shut down his tank and he said it didnt bother his coral and he even had a clam.  Help this guy out with a new home, otherwise he will go to the fish store.
thanks
