micro bubbles
« on: March 26, 2018, 09:17:59 »
Hello Everybody.  My tank is up and running.   Becoming more stable every day however I have hit a snag!  I Have a bad case of micro bubbles.  I initially thought the skimmer was the issue,  After isolating  section by section I have discovered the source.   It is coming from the sump inlet.   I have a 3/4 id tube running for a durso into a filter sock that is made out of poly pad. I need ideas on how to trap the bubble anything will help.

Looking back at your sump, is your inlet on onside and the return pump on the other?  passing through the weir baffle plates should allow the bubbles to dissipate.

You would think.   My next step is to check the return nozzle to make sure there is no leak.  I may be causing a venturi.
