Need Acrylic Glue
« on: December 11, 2008, 19:22:00 »
One of the inner panels in my sump is coming loose. I need some glue to reglue it. What kind should I use? It needs to dry quickly as I won't be able to leave it dry for an extended period.

Weld-On 3 or 4 would work but it needs to dry for 24 hours.  The Weld-On 16 would work as well, a little thicker kinda like a silicone, but again needs 24 hours to setup.  Don't know of any acrylic cement that drys ready for use quickly.  You might try a CA Glue, two part super glue (glue and activator) as it drys within seconds and will hold acrylic.  You should be able to get the CA glue at most hobby shops.
