Title: Moving sale
Post by: Grymtooth on December 09, 2018, 09:12:30
So pretty soon I will be having a moving sale since it is now officially that I will be relocating to KC, and I will be downsizing my tank back down to the 20.  Most of my rock will be for sale, a large GSP colony, and a ton of Xenia. Also powder brown Tang, psychedelic mandrian, pair of barletts anthias, and a royal Gramma. There is also a rock nem and a tube nem, and a gorgonia, as well as whatever else I find in the tank. Everything is well seasoned at this point and all livestock has been in for almost a year now.

I am planning on keeping some of my corals, but pairing it all down to what is easy to transport and get established quickly.

More details to come as things happen.

I’m interested in the mandarin and anthias depending on the timing you need them out by.

Will hold on to them for you. Here is what I am  thinking, once I have a closing date on my house I am breaking down the tank then.il I'll move my keep livestock into the 20 that way I can break the 20 down on moving day. Easier to do it that way.

For those interested in rock, it may have Xenia in/on it, but can easily be dipped in muriatic to fix that problem.

Are the fish still for sale? I’m placing an order for a couple anthias on Live Aquaria and would like to add them all at the same time if possible.

Ideally I was hoping to sell as I break the system down for moving. At the moment it is not on market yet, so may still be some time. Incidentally, those two are very difficult to catch, I guess as are most basslets?

Unsure what kind of rock nem, he is green and white colored, and the stinker has been hiding since we put him in. I can still see a small part of him, but Merlin may also know more specifics.

Here are some pics, keeping the electric blue damsels for time being. Most of the rock is up for grabs, would like to frag the whip before selling the main colony. Also keeping the frogspawns , rastas, and a couple others. Also planning on keeping a small piece of the GSP for next build.

Could not get a pic with both anthias, or the mandrian yet.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190127/ca510cad33e45dc3ee2f5eb5f4426eca.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190127/c498c07b974f9545698e18ef3d104d29.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190127/bdb1371a8f014c7dd58253e58f50014d.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190127/b575e09df87c097f58fc48e85c9a449c.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190127/bf2c092d5f06906c183847b756ce531a.jpg)

Okay, so things are moving along (no pun intended), and so we have a date for the sale. Saturday, March 9th. If you have already asked for something in particular, it needs to be picked up then. Whole tank is being broken down and cleaned over the next few weeks after.

Most of what is not claimed is rock, but I can easily split out some of the GSP, pulsing Xenia, and blue Xenia is anyone wants pieces of it.

If you're coming to pick something up, plan on between 11a to 4p, and let me know when you will be here. Address will be pmd to those interested.

Also, TroyReef, I still have your stand here, feel free to swing by!

I will have to check on things and make a list of who has claimed what. Will get that done today, but I believe the range is spoken for.

What is the non-moving filtering cucumber?

Post by: Grymtooth on March 05, 2019, 16:44:26
So I am trying to find details on this cuke, but essentially it is not a tiger tail or a pink/purple one... Brown with black spots, snugs up against a rock and buried itself in sand and just filter feeds...

I can't find a name or ID for it at the moment

I will see if I can get one, but difficult since it buried... Once I cut out some GSP, I can get a pic of the feeders

So may plan was, on Saturday everyone would show up on the hours I had mentioned. During that time I am going to try to set up my 20 gallon to keep a small selection of items. That way the 90 is ready to be scraped, cleaned and dried.

Everything is now gone, mods please feel free to close/lock.

Thanks to all who spoke up and even came by. Was nice seeing some members, and this would be the last time I get to see people.

I am going to hang around on the board here and will post my new 90 once I get it set up and established.
