Just sent payment. Think I’m finally ready to take the plunge and set up a table!
What are the requirements restrictions, etc fit setting up a frag tank at the swap?
Thanks!

:notworthy
Our swap is still over five months away we have already had a great response to vendors requesting tables for our upcoming event. As of now we are putting a hold on confirming any additional vendors until we can get back into the new rental location to confirm how many more spots we can support comfortably. Please do not just send money for a table without reaching out to me first. I have started a wait list and will be reaching out to people in the order we received the original requests. If you want to be added to the wait list let me know. If you have any questions feel free to send me a pm.
Thanks.
-
We measured up the new space and we have room for more!! Message me if you would like a table and we will get you reserved! Thanks for your patience.

Just went frag crazy to replenish my racks and give plenty of time for things to heal before the swap!
Or for anyone that can’t wait that long... ;)
A few Sexy Corals Orange Passion, a normal sized (1”) JF Howewrecker since all my other “frags” are now huge mini colonies (PM for pics and pricing).
JF Frankie’s Kryptonite, JF /Tyree Bonsai, JF Hugo’s Rainbow Staghorn,
And a new Walt Disney too since the old “frags” are huge like the Homewreckers I didn’t sell this Summer. (That’s what’s cool about frags. If they don’t sell you just end up with more colonies! I started with about 8-10 frags in the Spring and sold 4-6 over the Summer. The leftovers are about racquetball sized already!)
I’ll be firing up the saw later this week for things that require that.
Gonna cut another JF Yellow Submarine Favia for those that were waiting get at me if you want me to hold it. They go fast.
Some frags of the JF Top Fuel Favia and maybe a Rainbow Chalice Frag or two from my big one. A Red Lightning? Chalice from Aqua SD, and a gorgeous frag or three from the My Miami I got from Than at Tidal Gardens about 3 years ago.
And definitely the JF Vino Monti. And maybe the JF psycho Rim Favia, JF Shock wave Chalice and the JF Raging Melon Chalice.
And this list doesn’t even include all the frags that have already been growing out.
I’ve never done Reef Trader and I’d rather just get pre-orders here. If you want to see the whole list or need pricing or even just want to stop by to check it all out, PM me.
Oh! Almost forgot! my first named coral! Drum roll please....
Crazy Toby’s Nuclear Chewbacca Millis!
Imagine a cross between an Aqua SD Rainbow Milli and a JF Solar Flare but brighter and WAY shaggier. (And cheaper than the well know names... for now)
..... and I even cut my HUGE WWC OG bounce. Fingers crossed I end up with 3 to sell and one to grow out. Believe it or not, I’ve never cut a shroom before. In 30+ years of doing this I always just waited on babies. But this thing was 4+” in diameter and it just had to happen.
I’ll try to get some pics up later if I can find time and energy... long couple of months

Do we know if we will be able to set up Friday night?
-
Unfortunately not. There is a rental the night before.
-
That stinks.
-
What is the earliest we can arrive to set up?
-
I will be sending out info to all vendors and hobbyist soon. We will probably start set up around 8:30 because we will have to get volunteers in first to set up.
-
We are officially sold out of vendor and hobbyist tables. If you are already signed up we will get set up information out to you shortly. If you missed out and want to be on a wait list in case someone is unable to attend please let me know.
Thank you .

Anyone tried reeftrader in the last couple days? I have been getting a browser error and it will not come up. Same error on three different browsers so the site is messed up.
Jeff
-
Yes I have. Was able to navigate around it. Said something about their address registration expiring? and could not confirm address was authentic? Not secure.
-
Sounds like Reeftrader is more trouble than I have time to fuss with right now.
Here's a link to an almost complete list of what I have available that I can bring to the swap for pre-orders.
... In short, I sell bigger frags than typically come from Fox, WWC etc of pieces i got directly from these sources and my prices are typically 40-60% of their retail...
PM me for pricing and availability. Some stuff is going quick already.
Hopefully the link works and this is allowed...
It's also linked on the Ohio Reef Club Swap Event page on Facebook.

-
Would fragswapper be a better option?
-
I dont think it's doing the "unsecure" thing anymore, but if it does, all you have to do is click the advanced options button it under the warning and hit ignore
-
It’s fixed now :)

A Few Frag Swap Tips for Both Newbies and Veterans
1. Don't Forget Cash. Some Vendors will Take Credit Cards, but Others are Cash Only.
2. Bring a Portable Cooler - to Store the Corals that you Bought In and to Keep them at the Right Temperature.
3. Doors Open at 12:00 Noon and the Swap Ends at 4:00 PM
4. Admission is $5 Kids are FREE too. Having the Exact Amount Helps Things Go Smoother at the Entrance.
5. Please be Patient with Vendors. Please keep in mind time is short and the crowds are large, if a vendor does not have adequate time to answer all of your questions ask for a business card or web address follow up with them at a later date, they are all professional and have great experience with keeping salt water tanks thriving but time is limited. The chaos can be great at these shows. The vendors greatly appreciate your business.
-
I always bring a couple of these Small Coleman Coolers.
To Keep the Corals that I Buy at the Right Temperature.
But any Cooler will do.

What he meant to say is he just lit the site on fire with his additions! Good lookin stuff as always. I started to reserve some pieces and then realized I just need to talk to you about a pack and maybe a trade? My RR Orange Passion I got from you in Indy was finally making the transition from your MH to my LED/T5s and lookin good when it disappeared off its mount and down into the unreachable recesses of live rock in my display. Ugh. So I need to replace that and have my eye on a few others. Can’t wait to see what else you bring!

If there is something you are interested in from someone on reef trader you should either request it or at least contact them about the piece. Many of us that post corals won’t bring them unless they are requested. As in av99 case he will fresh cut a frag as it is requested on most of his higher end pieces.
