Title: Tank breed banded trochus snails

Just showing off a baby banded trochus snail. I probrably have a couple thousand of these little guys growing up in my reef. First noticed a couple months back. Starting to get some size to them.

How long have you had the and how large are they now?

about the same size, maybe a little bigger. I think most of them that size are probably 1-2 year old, they could be older as some of this rock came from one of my other tanks before i shut it down.

I think you may be thinking of collonistas snails. They stay tiny and have a rounded shell. Banded Trochus reach an inch in about year and have pointed shells
