Looking forward to see it grow out! It’s a beauty

Looks good buddy make sure to keep an eye on it I've had a couple come off the rock rubble and luckily found them elsewhere in the tank

Oh man, me to. Lucky you found them. I wasn’t so lucky.
-
Almost threw a plug away and one was on the bottom.... very lucky indeed

Mid January

Excellent growth

Curtis, this baby is looking SWEET
-
Are these fragged by cutting them in half through the mouth? That would make me nervous cutting a $350 piece of coral in half!

You’ll have to ask LazyLivin about that. He fragged this one. I believe it just requires some tissue and get a couple bubbles. But I could be wrong.

I had one about 2" across. I cut it in half. 1 of the halves went back in tank to be the mother. The other half I cut into 5 pieces. This is one of those 5 pieces. Any little piece of them will regenerate. It is a fragers dream coral.

Wow so you dont have to get some of the mouth in the frag cut? Probably the hardest thing would be gluing it to the plug.

Yes you don’t have to get any mouth however it can’t be glued to a plug. It can only be cut where it has foot still attached to substrate or it would end up lost in the filtration or under a rock
