Which of the Maracyn products should be used to fight off an outbreak of cyno?

Freshwater maracyn will kill cyano at a rate of about 1 packet per 50-70 gallons.

Do you know what's causing your cyano?  If not, this is just a temporary solution, and may kill off other beneficial bacteria since cyano is a bacteria as well.

I recently did a 20% water change and my guess is the water wasn't as clean as I thought it was. May be time to replace my carbon block/RO-DI cartridges.....

I would check your RO/DI filters and find your source before treating it.  I've just had too much bad experience with losing too much good bacteria with the bad.  Fix your filters and do several water changes.  I'd also try underfeeding a bit for a couple days as well.

Several people on here a few threads back tried leaving their lights off for a couple of days.

Anyway, sorry I didn't answer what you asked.  I didn't know the answer to the question anyway, but figured I'd try to help in another way.
