I am going to do a diy calcium reactor. instead of useing cell cast tub im gonig to use regular pvc tube. As far as i can tell the only benifit or clear tube is you can see the media inside. Im going to change my media every 6-7 months so do i really need to see inside?

Are they 1/4" wall?  The thinner stuff can break if it is for your DYI calcium reactor.
