Reef additive. What are you using?
« on: January 14, 2019, 00:14:48 »
1 year. So the tank is nice and stable and I haven’t lost any frags yet!  With that’s being said I’m looking to increase growth.  The alk is at 9.6 cal is 450. N.3 p.01.  I was complaining to another reefer a couple months ago about slow growth and that sage dropped a pearl of wisdom on me I have never thought of.  “Make sure the coral is nailed down” I have never thought about it.  If the rock that the coral is glued to gets bumped or settles even a bit you have just changed the flow, par, and direction the stick wants to grow.  This has helped me out a lot.  Now that everything is nailed down. I’m looking at dosing aminos like acro power your thoughts? .  What do you guys dose apart from trace element balling methods?

How is your mag level?  That too will also cause slow growth.  I only use acro power.

Not sure that acropower will increase your growth but when my corals are happy I think it really helps out with my p/e
