My new tanks
« on: December 30, 2007, 02:38:17 »
I haven't been on here in a while, thought I would share my two new tanks.  One is a 125 gallon, I did a lot of work on this tank, I drilled the overflows and installed a calfo style overflow, drilled a closed loop, and custom made my sump and fuge.  The lighting on this tank is 2x250w mh + 6x 24w t5 true actinic.  My other tank is a 29 biocube, this is my first nano tank and I love it, but it doesn't have enough light for my taste, I'm currently having a 20" tall hood built and plan on installing a 250w MH.  Now for some pics

Very nice!!

I've always thought a full length overflow would be nice.

Very cool... Love that stand.  Did you DIY, have it made, or buy it somewhere?

A friend of mine that builds houses and custom furniture built the stand and hood.  I'm going to paint the doors black as well, just haven't gotten to it yet.

I personally like the two tone look of black and oak. I dont think I would paint the doors or the trip. The stand and hook look sharp in the two tone. JMO Nice setup

Very nice! Is the picture of the nano the aquarium you won at the Cincy frag swap?
