Anyone know what is growing on my Monti Cap?  I have removed it in the past but it will grow back in the same spot.

Is it slimy and able to be blown off the monti cap?

Yes, it is slimy but it doesn't blow off. You have to pull or scrape it off.

looks like a macro algae to me, maybe a type of scroll algae?
