Title: Gopro Settings
Post by: Tjsailosullivan on December 15, 2014, 22:26:21
Anyone have any experience with using a GoPro in your reef tank. Picked up a new GoPro hero 4 and was wondering what settings work best? Also thinking about getting a red filter for it and was wondering if that will help with the colors.

Not a clue :(

Been debating on getting a gopro early next year.  Don't want to take this to far off topoc but which one did you get and why did you get it?  Did you look at any of the other camera's?

I had bought the Go Pro Hero 4 Silver. I had picked it up mainly for skydiving and diving but also thought it would be cool to use in the Aquarium. Just haven't quite figured out the best settings for the aquarium and diving.

I use protune setting. Gives you more editing options. Also use auto white balance.
This was shot with a Hero3 Black

I think I figured it out. Thanks for the tips. Still a little dark but not to bad. Here's mine. Best viewed in HD.
