Title: How do I control ulva (sea lettuce)

So I got some help from a few of you and have identified my "green leafy thing" as ulva / sea lettuce.

I have noticed it in a few spots and believe it got introduced when I added my refugium with chaeto.

I have a yellow tang and a flame tail blenny.......one spot of it stays trimmed down, not sure if they have found the other spots. not even sure who may be eating it.

Anyway, is there anything else I can do to ensure it stays in check?

I'm struggling with this crap as well. It's all over my tank. I'm surprised because I'm running GFO and biopellets. I feel like my levels would be in check. I as well have a yellow tang and a yellow eye tang and neither one will eat it. Got a sea hare and it's slowly eating it. I'm hooking up an algae scrubber tomorrow so I'm hoping this helps.

Marine Algaefix may work. Never tried it with Ulva but it works on cheato, caluerpa and hair algae

I have some Marine Algae Fix you could try if you would like... I used it a long time ago before i had a reef tank and it worked really well on GHA.

I had an emerald crab but it died about a month ago. Never had ulva, now I do. Hmmmm. I kinda miss mr crabs, so I think I will give it a shot. Thanks Steve

Picked up an emerald crab today at Lazy's. Let's see how it goes!

The crab hasn't found it yet. He just chills in a cave all day. I named him scaredy crab because he don't come out
