Can you run GFO and carbon in the same reactor?

I've seen it done.   If you don't have the space for two chambers.

Typically GFO is going to be ran at a lower effluent rate than carbon.  You can better control the effluent rates with separate reactors.    Additionally, if one is exhausted before the other, you don't waste anything.

I have the same reactor as you steve and it says you can with carbon on top of the gfo. though as wall says it could become annoying switching them in and out.

Sounds like carbon stays in the nylon hose.
