How do I frag it?
« on: March 04, 2012, 20:19:49 »
I purchased something similar to Xenia & I can't remember what it's called.  It's growing/spreading & I was wondering how I cut it apart.  Do I just pull the rock out of the tank & cut it?

The stuff (possibly anthelia) is on a ceramic piece & I was thinking of putting that back into my main tank.  Then frag a small piece that't attatched to the rock it's sitting on & leave that in the clown tank.

Didn't know if I just cut it with a knife & if I should remove it or should I keep the rock in the tank.

thanks

As long as it is spreading.  You could do what a friend of mine did.  He would just put some plugs or rubble around the xenia or anthelia and it would spread to those fairly quickly.
Thanks and God Bless,
John

its presently on a rock & has spread to that.  Will it seperate itself or do I need to cut it to seperate the main piece on the tile thingy from the rock
