Hatcher, I love the open doors with no center support, this will make your life much easier if you have to replace a sump or get under your stand, One thing is that it will probably be your only weak point. My 75g stand is similar, but behind one of my doors, there is a brace connected to the door, that fits snug from the top frame of the stand to the bottom, that is basically a removable brace. You may want to think about doing somthing like that. it serves two purposes it keeps the fuge light from shinning through, and support. I am not sure if you will get what I am saying so if you want i can post a picture for you. It just helps me sleep at night! lol

What???? I run  refugium on my 54gal corner, if you can it is always better to run a fuge IMO. anything that can use up your extra nitrates instead of just trapping them is always good! I am only running a wetdry under my 75g, with an external skimmer, but that is because that is the way I bought it, I will be switching to a refugium under it as soon as I get the chance. I did throw a bunch of LR in the sump to give the pods a place to hang out and breed

maybe I misunderstood your post! are you saying that it is too small to stick under the tank???????? or too small to need a refugium????

well anything is to small to go under my tank but im saying to small like long ways i want a 55 long cause 55 tall just seems pretty compact to put baffels it it to have 3-4 different slots to put your skimmer return and algae and stuff.

well an update on whats happening with my tank and setup. i had an ATO that kinda of malfunctioned a couple weeks ago and kinda of flooded my fish room. since then i have been to Mikes house and we took apart the relay and in his awesomness fixe it for me so now instead of haveing to put water in manually it is automatic now. and note to anyone that has an ATO just because ur line running into your sump or were ever u have it running into just because it goes up does not mean that you will not have a back syphon so what i did under the lid of my holding tank for my ATO i drilled to small holes and it now works. i also bought a light off of Rancoo and one of the ballasts were not working so Mike (Slandis) was nice enough to hook me up with a 96w that he had and i also got some frags off of him so i could start getting my feet so my light is up and working ill take pics of all the things i have just talked about so you can see. wish i would have taking pics of replacing that ballast cause OMG it was crazy cause after all of my work of replacing it i forgot to plug it in and was so frustrated i took it out so i could give it back to Mike and after i took it out noticed that it wasnt plugged in and had to do it all over again grrrrr but ill post pics soon. thanks for reading

Just remember when working on something and its not working always ask the age old question... Is it plugged in? LOL
