I bought my 48" halide light system, YAY!, but now it won't fit because of my HOB skimmer. The tube that comes up that you use to adjust is in the way.. I don't want to hang it cause I'm afraid its too heavy and I don't trust that. So can I cut the tube smaller so my light will fit?
