Well...
It happens to all of us at some point in this hobby... nature takes it's course, and our clean-up crews get a steak dinner.
I lost 1 of my Pseudo's yesterday or the day before. A month or so ago, I noticed that it appeared to have some sort of wound on it's back near it's dorsal fin which appeared to be healing over. A wk or so ago, another similar looking wound appeared, and this also appeared to be healing. On Sat, I noticed a similar, but larger wound on it's lower abdomen, and he was less active than usual and not eating. His fins also appeared to be frayed. This was new and different, and concerned me enough to run to Jack's for some Marcyn 2. Based on the appearance of the wound and his reaction to it, I felt that it might be a fungal infection.
Whatever it was, took him out, before the meds could help. He's always been shy so I don't have any good pics of the area.

A couple of questions:
Can a fungal infection take down a fish this fast?
Is there any benefit in completing the Marcyn 2 treatment if I've lost the fish in question and the other fish in the system do not show any signs of being ill?
I'll try and attach a couple of pics for comparison....
