Those are so cute.   Keep us inform of their progress.  How long did you acclimate them?

Acclimating them was very simple and this is the way they recommend. They are in the bag so long drip acclimating would stress them out that much more so they just have you open the box, let the temp adjust for 20 mins. Then float them for another 20 then lift them out of the bag with your hand and put them into the tank. As of now I have seen 4 of them eat!

I'm still in search of a tank myself for Seahorses.  Will work on that after Christmas.  I'll be watching to see how yours are doing.

I "almost" set my 150 tank up as a seahorse and pipefish tank!  The flow in that tank is very low and would be perfect for a heard of ponies!  :)

That's what Bill wanted to do with our old 90.  I just want a small tank.

I would have loved the large tank for the ponies.  I would have had to once again seperate the husbandry of the tank and just didn't feel like dealing with the humidity issues.

Belive it or not..low flow isnt something seahorses need. I have a pump that does 2200 gph in the 75 gallon and they seem to like it.

Really that's cool.  It's been a while, but when I last looked into it everything I read said low flow.

I thought it depended on the species of horsey.... I read where some do and don't like high flow

Yay glad to hear its making people interested....My mom redid the aquascaping today lol...It looks so much better we are going to change a few things tomorrow...Other than that the seahorses seem to be doing great...I have one thats not eating but I plan on working on that tomorrow. Going to be looking for more gorgonias and macro algaes to add.
