Well its all up and running.  I added 15Lb of Aragonite sand (2 cups from my 28G nano) and several Nice pieces of rock covered in coraline.  I also added some rubble in my second chamber.  Everything is running good.  The maxijet1200 is almost too much flow.  I might remove the Korilla nano, not sure if it is needed.  I think this is all the rock I am going to add. I also threw in some random snail shells I found in my 28G nano. Not the best pics, taken with my Driod X.  Its hard to get a full tank shot with the light on because its so bright.

Well so far there are 2 snails and 5 tiny hermit crabs all doing great after a week.  My params are as follows:
Nitrate - 0ppm
Nitrite - 0ppm
PH - 8.0
Ammonia - 0-.25
Alk - 1.7
salt - 1.023
temp - 78

Havent seen any diatoms yet, just a tiny bit of GHA on one rock.  It was probably on there from when I moved it from my 28G.  This tank has ALOT more evaporation than my Nanocube, probably because of no lid.  My son loves it, its fun to watch the crabs scurry around in the moonlights.  Also is there a thing as too much flow?  I have a MJ1200 and a Korilla nano and this thing flows like no other!  Would that drive the fish nutz??  I also added a small mushroom and several pieces of my toadstool that dropped frags a month ago or so.

I also had a royal sea urchin die a while back and threw the skeleton in the 10G, makes for an awesome decoration.

This is a really nice little tank.
90g SPS and LPS reef tank, 35g sump, ceramic rock by The Alternative Reef, Neptune Apex w 2 X EB8's, Moonlight module, ATI Sunpower Dimmable 8 X 39W T5's, Octopus Extreme 160 skimmer, PM Kalkwasser Reactor, 2 X Vortech MP40's, Geo 618 Ca reactor

Various thriving montipora, acropora, stylopora, wellsophyllia, blastomussa, hammer, anchor, and frogspawn, lobophyllia, rhizotrychus, pavona, scroll, and pagoda SPS and LPS corals, but no fish because I was too stupid to QT...

Little update.. Two things I would change.. Get slip fit fitting for the bulkhead, alot easier to remove the elbow to change pumps. The MJ 1200 is way too much flow. The corner was always bare from way too much flow and the crabs and snails wouldnt go in that side of the tank. I have replaced it with a MJ 600, almost perfect! I think the 900 would be the ticket. I put the 1200 in my 28G nanocube. The 1200 makes alot of noise, a loud hum. The 600 is dead silent, wich is good since this tank is in my sons room.

I have not seen any sign of cycle, I guess adding the live rock and sand right from my nano cube seeded well.

Update..  Tank has been up and running for just over 6 weeks now.  Everthing is doing fine.  Livestock to dat is a pair of black clowns and 1 tiny green clown goby.  I have a red mushroom, blue mushroon, couple of small toadstools, duncan, and a neon green tree coral (not sure of the name).  I also purchased an an Anemone for my 28G but after 2 weeks it looked horrible so I transplanted it to my 10G and it looks a little bit better.  I bought it as a bubble tip but it looks wired to me, no tips at all??  Any ideas on it?

Pics!!!

He has looked like that for 3-4 days or so..  When I had him in my 28nano he would only open when the lights were off, he gets about 2"diameter.  No "tips" or anything though?  Ive been feeding him mysis and krill.

Thanks,  yea those lil clowns are my fav..  They have been rubbing the outside of the anemone today.

Any idea what kind of anemone it is?

Bit of an update on my 10G..  Both of my clowns died the same night a while back..  Not sure what happened there, all params seemed to be in check.  The anemone never recovered either.  Other than that the corals are going nutz.  I also bought a small domino damsel for something to look at.

All this with a cheap 18" odyssea 4 bulb T5 fixture and stock bulbs

Well tank has went through some ups and downs.  Had problems with dead fish but other than that the corals are doing good.  I have been using it as a frag tank of sorts for my zoas.  Here is what it looks like today.  This is my sons 10G and he loves it and has learned alot.  He picked up a few frags at the Urbana swap.

Live stock includes:
Marroon clown
2 sexy shrimp
pom pom crab
several hermits and snails.

Corals:
Green polyp toad stools
hammer
duncan
several purple with white spotted mushrooms
Green neon tree (not sure of the name)  This is a new piece,  his old one is in my 90.
GSP
sm Chalice
pulsing xenia
random dark colored zoas.

And several sm. unwanted aptasia....

Small Marroon clown hosting a toad stool.
