New QT and need some algae for fish
« on: March 01, 2014, 16:39:38 »
Hey all,
I'm in the Clayton area and looking for some algae.  We set up a QT for fish with ich and in need of some food for our coral beauty, lawnmower blenny, and tangs. With it being a new setup we have nothing growing in the tank.  Any help would be great!! Also any pieces of live rock with growth you want to get rid of or sell off for cheap would be great also!

Thanks,
 Danielle

I have some algae sheets I can give you. You just put them on a clip or something in the water and the fish can swim up and eat it as they want

Spinach leaf works well. They don't disintegrate like NORI and stay together really well.
