Posted a few pictures of my Acropora humilis. I added this coral 7 months ago.

Very neat I love to see things growing and not dieing. What do you use to dose with and what are you paremeters.

I use 1200 watts of metal halide lighting (400w X3), lots of flow, over-sized skimmer, 125 gallon macro filtration system and a large calcium reactor to maintain proper calcium and alkalinity levels.

I think Scott missed your question because the thread was moved from the "reef discussion" forum to "tank pictures." Not sure why the thread was moved to a different forum because documenting the growth of corals and follow up questions about water chemistry, flow, and lighting seem to be better suited for reef discussion in my opinion, even if pictures are attached.

At least as of January of 2007 (IE, when Verper hosted the Ohio Reef meeting), I think Scott was running two 250 watt halides w/ actinic lights, and the flow on his 120g reef was mainly from two Tunze 6000 pumps on a single controller.

Yep, I did miss it.

Lighting courtesy of 2 EVC electronic ballasts running 400w EVC bulbs in Luminarc L3 mini reflectors. Also have 2 54w T5 actinics that run all day also.

aquavista99 has the flow right, although I added a 6055 since I'm not using it for its intended purpose at this time.

I'm also stepping up to the aquavista99 level with the addition of a calcium reactor very soon.
