Are you wanting both tanks on the same stand?

i want to be able to put the 75 on their for now and in about a year when i go to the 120 i want to be able to reuse the stand

this is why i am asking how i can make it strong enough that the 75 would be 6" forward from the rear cross support
850 lbs is alot and i am sure if not supported either the stand or tank would break

Build it to hold the 120g and put a 1in piece of plywood on top.  Nott sure if you need a cross brace every foot front to back or how close they should be.....
300g tub o fish

build it dimension wise to fit the 120. but put a false wall or couple removeable legs to support back wall of 75.

http://www.ohioreef.com/index.php?topic=14741.0 some pics of my stand build. Ones for a 75 and the other is for a 180. But it can handle well over a 75 gallon.
