By the way, the pool table is gone! The top was one piece of slate weighing approximately 500-600 pounds! The base was all one piece. The legs did come off though.

We did a level/leak test today! It passed on both accounts. Randy will work on the plumbing and "hopefully" have water and a few tangs in this weekend!

That will be a nice set up! A guy on cincyreef is selling a sohal tang for $75! If I had a tank that sized I would be all over it. Will you be running a UV on this system?

Are you pluming this into your reef system? If so, aren't you worried about those big nasty fish reaking havoc on you reef system? Those fish produce alot of wast? just wondering.

Yes this will be part of the reef system. I'm not too worried. I have a good skimmer and a total water volume of over 400 gallon plus I run phosban and carbon 24/7. My husband said he may try to DYI a smaller skimmer directly off the 150 for some extra protection.

at least for now..... the fish for this tank shouldn't add that much more load to the tank.

FWIW there is a used G4x with gate valve & RC mods going for $300+ ship on ER. Not a bad price...... debating on replacing my G3 with it

The fish I'm getting are fairly small for now.

Gary I have a G4X right now! Randy will be doing a mod on it soon. I'm sure it will be enough for this system. As I said Randy may DIY a skimmer off of that tank.
