Here are a few shots filling it up:

Behind the wall:

Full!

I put a few rocks in because I'm going to add the large hippo and powder blue tonight if the water clears out ok.  I never did catch the smaller hippo. At this point if I do catch him I doubt I'll be able to add it to the 150 for fear the two hippos will now fight since they have been seperated for so long.

The fish I'm getting are fairly small for now.  :)  Gary I have a G4X right now!  Randy will be doing a mod on it soon.  I'm sure it will be enough for this system.  As I said Randy may DIY a skimmer off of that tank.

I know you do, that's why I posted it :)

I thought $300 isn't a bad price for one thus I passed it along.  With a light bio load I am sure you will be fine with the skimmer you have.

Joel did get a very cool Queen Trigger in.  Probably to large for what you want but he's awesome looking!!

I think I was there when it came in, although there were so many new fish coming in I could be wrong.  I felt like a kid in a candy shop!  :)

I'm guessing it would be too big or perhaps not a good fit for what I'm already getting.  I'm keeping my fingers crosse dthat my clown trigger comes in tomorrow!!!  ;D

If you guys diy a skimmer, do a recirculating skimmer feeding directly off one of the drains on the 150g Thats what were going to do on our new tank. were going to try one setup like this on our new tank

This was with actinic lighting only (pre fish).  You really can't see how it actually looks:

The first 2 fish are in!

Ok a little off subject. How long have you had your powder blue? how big was it when you got it? I want to get one for our new tank but i have heard and read that they have alot of problems.

I got mine on April 26, 2005 (my birthday :)  )   It was fairly small but not tiny.  I personally have had no problems with it.

Thanks Dave, Randy came up with that idea.  We are running a seperate pump from that tank to the sump.  That may be why he did it that way.  I'll have to ask him.

I'm excited aobut the triggers I'm getting.  :)

My husband really doesn't like the PB because it's a little on the mean side.  I however love it!  :)  It should be a good match for the other guys that will be in this tank.  :)

PC actinic and Normal Florescent.  There won't be any coral so no need for big expensive lighting.  :)

Added the rock tonight.  this tank sure looks different than the other one which was one of my goals.  I'm sure I'll do some changing around but for now I think there are lots of hiding places and caves.  There is also room on both the front and back for the fish to swim around.

Actinic only but doesn't get a good effect on here:
