If I remember right the biggest issues with that probe is trapped air in the tip of it.

Nice meeting you today. As we discussed, the Apex forums are full of the same question about the probes and calibration. Since it’s new, give it 2 or 3 weeks in the water and then re-calibrate it. I gave up on the calibration fluid and used a refractometer to get my tank exactly 026 and the I calibrated the probe with my tank water. I’ve had it going this way for a year and it’s only about .5 off. But I know it so I just keep my water at 35.5 now. Lol

:nervous: well the tank ended up with ich. Might have gotten it when they were in friends tank while we waited for the house. Achilles was first to get it so now I have pulled out the rock caught all the fish and have them in copper treatment. Going to be fallow which sucks but it's for the best. Don't quite like the rock work I think that the right stack is too tall and too steep. But it works for now

Love the rockscape! I guess you’re still qt’ing the fish? How are the corals doing without fish?

So update on the tank. I have been trying to solve a low oh issue. Think it is from too much C02 in the house. So today I drilled a hole thru my wall and plumbed a fresh airline for my skimmer. Needless to say it's seems to be working but I now can't get the skimmer dialed back in since I had to remove the silencers. Going to have to modify them so I can run a hose to em. Will post pics of the project when done

So solved the pH issue with the outside air. But noticed coral starting to pale out did some testing 0 phosphate and less than 5 nitrate so started dosing them today

So tanks been running a while can't seem to keep any sps/Monti. Sent off a triton test and these are my results. What do you think https://www.triton-lab.de/showroom/icp-oes/114525

Looks like your phosphates are crazy high per Triton. I don’t personally keep them super low in my own tank, but always try and stay below 0.2 mg/l (equal to ppm). Iodine is high too but I’m not sure if that is an issue, someone else might chime in about that.

From a lot of research I’ve done in the past, anything over .1 starts impeding calcification in stony corals. Obviously the higher you go over .1 the worse it is and I’m sure there’s also a ceiling where coral death is the outcome. I’d get that under control as quickly as you can. But not so fast that it kills your coral.

Is there a way to convert it to English? Am I missing something?
