One busy goby
« on: May 11, 2015, 10:32:07 »
I picked up a diamond goby the other day to move some sand and keep it cleaned up. After the initial first day of fishing him out of my over-flow (at least he didn't commit suicide like my last one) I put him back into the main population. Ever since then he's been as busy as the proverbial one-legged man, actually has turned my tank into a silty mess. Since he's been moving large piles of sand, and causing so much debris to float around, my sps corals have beat a retreat. Is this ok? Will they eventually come back out without causing them harm before he settles down? I guess my sand needed this, but sheesh, I don't want to kill off coral to clean sand. I ran a test of the parameters to make sure I didn't get a large spike due to all this disruption but everything is still in check.  Suggestions?
