Anyone else ever find a fish in there protein skimmer?

I was cleaning out my protein skimmer and looked down inside and happened to notice some color under the bubble plate so I took off the plate and sure enough there was my missing mandarin she must have been in there a while she is really skinny.  I'm just suprised and happy she made it past the pinwheels without getting killed.

Wow.  Guess that's one more reason to run filter socks on the return lines.

I've had my sixine wrasse get into my overflow, but I have fairly small hoes going into my Durso standpipe.  So he stayed there for a while......he eventually jumped back out.

Scroll down a little on this page to see what happens if it doesn't make it past the impeller in one piece.  It's graphic, but it's not R-rated, IMO.

I've been lucky and mine have only made the overflow, so far.
